Supporting Coronado Brewing with the Launch of its New Organic Hard Ciders

Coronado Brewing Co. introduced its new line of USDA Organic Hard Ciders in December 2021. To help reach new audiences outside of their existing marketing channels, I supported the marketing team by driving the PR, messaging, and communications strategy needed for the product launch.

Writing a compelling press release was only the beginning. I worked with the sales team to understand how this new line of ciders (officially dubbed ‘award winning’ at the 2025 World Beer Cup) was different than what was already out in markets, also making recommendations for key talking points and helping them prepare for future media interviews.

Once the announcement went live, Beth Demmon, author of The Beer Lover's Guide to Cider, was the first to cover the news for San Diego Magazine, followed by other local and industry media.
